The film room I was just amazed on this point, because all the SMS and Emails appear in ENGLISH!!! This is unacceptable and really I am very disappointed in this bluray. I love the movie, but why Universal didn't use the digital version of which is spent at the cinema?????????? WHY. A superficial Film with no depth in the characters, and often played poorly. This is not the fundamental reason for which I have special love for this film. This is dealt with in the film, this is not the recent History of the United States through a singular character. This film deals with what is (deeply) the american mentality, state of mind and soul of America and what makes it so unique. I saw and reviewed this film a number of times and I find that there is always something to glean in this story. "Forrest Gump" is everything except the story of a fool who crosses a time. This is the America seen by the eye of an observer whose gaze is sometimes that of the proverbial philistine, sometimes that of a sage. And perhaps the newcomer has-t-he a form of wisdom which we would have the greater utility. It is a type of look that we would do well to throw on us: may-be would learn us something about what we are.... Wonderful film that pays tribute to a passionate humanity, Sister Sainte-Margueritte who knew how to educate a young girl who is deaf, dumb and blind in this end of the XIX° century in France, near Poitiers, the institution of Larnay, in the Daughters of Wisdom, whose purpose was the instruction of the deaf and dumb. The emotion we perceive. The feat achieved by the combination of a rare determination and an inordinate love for the Other.
